2024 National Community Survey: What Residents Think About Coronado
The City of Coronado conducts a scientific biennial survey of the community to assess residents' satisfaction with Coronado's quality of life and City services. The survey also provides insight into opportunities for improvements. The survey results help City staff make decisions about resources and priorities to ensure the City continues to maintain the high standards and quality city services they have come to expect. The National Community Survey has been conducted by Polco (formerly known as National Research Center) since 2014 and includes standardizes questions to enable comparison to other benchmarked communities and customized questions. Polco conducts the survey using a random sample of households which reflect the demographic composition of the entire community.
Survey Process
The community survey opened March 5 and closed April 16, 2024. A random sample of residents received a postcard, followed by a letter, so they could complete the survey online or by mail. A total of 478 completed surveys were received. After the statistical survey period closed, the City also shared an online only link with the entire community, and another 54 residents filled out the survey.
