About the Community Survey
The City of Coronado regularly conducts a scientific survey of all residents to make sure they are satisfied with the job the city is doing and find out what issues are most important to maintaining Coronado's excellent quality of life. The survey results help City staff make decisions about resources and priorities to ensure the City continues to maintain the high standards and quality city services they have come to expect.
2024 Community Survey
The City launched the 2024 community survey on March 5, 2024 (Media Release). The survey is conducted to assess resident satisfaction with city services and quality of life. The survey is an important tool to assist in identifying priorities that align with community feedback and the findings will help provide guidance into important policy decisions. The final report on the public opinion analysis will be shared with the City Council and the community in July 2024.
The City’s survey administrator Polco is conducting the survey using a random sample of 3,000 households which reflect the demographic composition of the entire community. This is the fourth time Polco (formerly known as National Research Center) has administered the resident survey for Coronado; the first was conducted in 2014.
The survey questions were also shared to the public in late March through April 16, 2024, and will be included separately in the completed survey report.
