Yes. While your existing Nixle information will transfer to Everbridge, creating an Everbridge account is important to ensure you have full access to the new system. Without an account, your ability to customize your notification preferences and manage your information through the Everbridge dashboard will be limited.

Once the City fully transitions away from Nixle, only users with an Everbridge account will continue to receive City notifications. We encourage all current Nixle users to create their Everbridge account now to ensure a seamless transition and stay connected to important City information.

Yes. There is no cost to residents to register or utilize this service.
