Take the Free Summer Shuttle around town! It's quick and easy, from the beach to the bay, and everywhere in between. The City of Coronado's Summer Shuttle provides free rides for residents and visitors alike in Coronado weekdays during the summer. Four San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) buses run along the existing Route 904 around the downtown Village area. The Coronado Summer Shuttle is operated by MTS and the program is funded by the City of Coronado.

BIKES ON THE BUS
The shuttle buses are equipped with bike racks, for two bikes each. If the bike rack is full, riders will have to wait for the next bus.
Bringing bikes on board is not allowed, as they are large, take up space that could be used for other passengers, and could not be strapped in, potentially pose a safety concern during braking or while maneuvering inside a full bus.
There are a few exceptions, some restrictions, and more details on the MTS website.
CORONADO CAYS SERVICES
MTS PRONTO passes are available at the Coronado Cays Homeowners Association for distribution to Coronado Cays residents.
On July 4th, a connector shuttle will run from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm between the Coronado Cays fire station and Avenida de las Arenas, with a stop at Liberty Housing, in order to connect residents to the shuttle service in the Village.
