Project Update July 26 2024

A major step in the Aquatics Center renovation has been completed. Both pools have been plastered and filled. The project is now in the middle of a two-week process to condition the pool water. Installation of a new bulkhead, which divides the pools into different areas for activities, was installed on July 26.

The final steps include waiting for the dust from the new plaster to clear prior to starting up the pools’ heaters, re-installation of the stainless-steel wire grid above the pool which acts as a bird deterrent, and the training of the Aquatics Center staff. The Project Team is on track to reopening the Center in late summer.
