Project Update May 1, 2024

The project continues to move forward through the construction process.

• 12 inches of engineered fill has been imported onto the project site and compacted. The infill will provide a cohesive and stable subsurface to support the new concrete deck.
• The pool’s deck drainage system has been installed and the project’s first concrete placement was performed to lock the drainage system into place.
• The Project Contractor anticipates seven more days of concrete placement. While the contractor is placing concrete, residents should expect limited access to the boat launch parking lot, increased vehicular traffic, and delays around the project site.
• Tentatively, concrete pour days are planned for the weeks of May 13, 20, and 27. Further updates will be provided once the schedule for the concrete days has been finalized. Please note: the contractor has been permitted to start work at 5:00 am rather than 7:00 am on concrete days. The majority of the construction noise will be caused by the concrete trucks backing into place.
• The tile installation in and around the pools is ongoing.
