Project Update: May 31, 2024

The construction on the new Parker Pump Station at Eighth Street and Coronado Avenue is progressing. Recently, the walls for the new storm water trash rack structure were poured and the City contractor is installing the interior walls and the pump pedestals inside the storm water wet well.

Ongoing work is progressing on the waterproofing of the new pump station structures and backfilling the large excavation. Once completed, the Parker Pump Station will improve operational efficiency and prevent flooding in homes and stormwater.
