Project Update October 16, 2026

The permanent generator has been set, and the first phase of testing was scheduled for October 9. This week, the contractor began pulling wiring and completing the terminations and anticipates that the generator will be operational at the end of next week but until then, the temporary generators are supplying backup power to the new station. Crews have been constructing the generator enclosure structure and had the first lift of grout this week. In preparation for last weekend’s rain, the contractor cleared debris around the construction fence and inlet protection BMPs.
