Registration for NASCAR Community Day tickets is now open!
NASCAR is coming to Naval Base Coronado for a three-day race weekend, June 19–21, 2026, featuring its national touring series on a temporary street course. This event offers a unique opportunity for the community to experience NASCAR in a one-of-a-kind setting.
In partnership with NASCAR, the City of Coronado has been provided a limited number of Community Day tickets (1,000 total) for Coronado residents to attend the Craftsman Truck Series race on Friday, June 19.
Due to anticipated high demand, tickets will be distributed through a random lottery process.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR TICKET LOTTERY:
Registration will be open March 23 – April 10, 2026 at 5 pm
To participate, residents must register through CivicRec:

ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be a Coronado resident; Both property owners and renters are eligible to participate
- One entry per household is permitted. Multiple entries from the same household will be disqualified.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
All eligible registrations will be entered into a random lottery following the close of the registration period.
Selected residents will be contacted with next steps and residency verification instructions, the week of April 13.
- A waitlist will also be drawn in the event additional tickets become available or selected participants do not complete the verification process.
- Waitlisted residents will be asked to complete residency verification during the verification period to ensure eligibility if tickets become available.
Residency Verification
Selected residents will be required to verify Coronado residency through a secure CivicRec portal. The residency verification period will take place from April 13 - May 1, 2026.
Acceptable verification documents include:
- Current property tax bill, or
- Lease agreement (minimum of 6 months)
*Please note: the name used for registration must match the name on the residency verification document. *
TICKET DISTRIBUTION DETAILS AND DATES:
Ticket Delivery
Once residency is verified, recipient information will be securely provided to Ticketmaster.
Tickets will be delivered directly by Ticketmaster to the email address provided during registration.
- Distribution is expected to be early to mid-May.
Active-Duty Military Residents
Active-duty service members stationed in Coronado will receive ticket access through a separate distribution process managed by the Navy.
Navy ticket registration is now open. Active-duty personnel are encouraged to register directly through the Navy’s system here:
